Synoste develops a more reliable and patient friendly limb lengthening device. The device is fully implanted in the bone marrow and can be controlled outside of the body wirelessly.

The heart of the lengthening device is a patent pending technology based on magnetically activated smart material. It enables a wireless robust lengthening mechanism with precise automated control and high force output. This is achieved without implantable electronics.

The device functions in a more patient friendly manner and reduces the human factor in the treatment by being automatic. Also the cost of this technology is within reasonable limits.

The technology is readily miniaturizable and adaptable to corrections of structural deformities in other areas such as craniofacial surgery and scoliosis treatment.
